It was more of a general comment vs this one.
And there is no question distracted driving is a huge problem and the video shows the perfect result of such thing. I have adapted cruise control in my jeep and it is a great thing, and definitely helped prevent one accident coming up to stopped traffic unexpectedly. My response was about 1/2 second behind the car (I was paying attention in the instance) and that was probably enough to make the difference of collision or not.
I do not wish to make it law (I am opposed to such laws), but commercial vehicles should have that technology. I am sure it is relatively cheap considering the money that commercial vehicles get for revenue.
