text only calls out David’s sin. Nathan only accuses David of sin using a parable of Bathsheba being forcibly taken from her owner. God only curses David.
Bathsheba is a completely passive object to David’s sinful lust.
The Chronicles papers over David’s sins.
Matthew’s genealogy calls her the wife of Uriah, not David. Bathsheba was blessed by God of all of David’s wives to be the ancestor of the Messiah.
