Like many other Trump moves, the point of this wasn't just or even primarily to clean up DC crime.

The exercise was to get Dems to lose their minds about it, further alienating them from mainstream people.

The "threats" to bring the NG to Chicago and other cities, I hope, are wand-waving to get more of the opposition and to bring even more attention to crime rates in these cities - all with Dem leaders now resisting "help" to clean it up.

IF, in fact, Trump directs the NG to Chicago, not only would I find it illegal and inappropriate, it will undo the political work done to this point.

What I do know: When trump plays music like this, the puppets dance and fall into the same trap politically over and over and over again.

Kilmar Garcia - remember him? that was OMG THIS IS HITLER when it came up. Now? Nobody GAF about him in Left MSM or politicians, and his idiot legal team are going to cost him a cushy spot in El Salvador (remember the idiot Senator visit where they sipped drinks?) in favor of Uganda - all for their political posturing and careers. Trump won on that issue entirely.
