Do you think Scalia supported burning the American flag when he voted with the majority in Texas v. Johnson... especialy when he said “If it were up to me, I would put in jail every sandal-wearing, scruffy-bearded weirdo who burns the American flag. But I am not king.”

Saying burning the flag should not be a crime does not mean supporting the act of buning the flag... just as saying burning the koran should not be a crime does not mean supporting the act.
