slim and malnourished. They could not afford tattoos to make people happy with free skin-based art, and they couldn't even afford lip implants. Flying around the world was too expensive, so they had to hang out on the local beach.
Males didn't have the money to buy shirts, so they had to expose their bellies, malnourished as they were. They had to be in the sun because umbrellas were too expensive, exposing them to dangerous sunlight.
They didn't even have the money to buy exclusive sunglasses, suncream with hormonal interruptors and worst of all: they used a primitive social networks system where they had to talk to humans directly, look folks in their eyes, and couldn't attack people anonymously from behind protective computer screens. They mixed with unknown, unvetted people, randomly and chaotically. They had no means of communication and were not updated every second by mobile devices, and were in the unknow almost all the time.
This was the Old World Order, primitive and hard to understand. Unsafe and chaotic. You can almost see the bones under the skin due to the lack of cheeseburgers and Coca-Cola.
