Wanting to look at all the actual data and look into the actual reasons for spending increases is "Copium"? You have no idea what you are talking about.

If Congress (or God forbid the media) actually bothered to look at the actual data instead of just wanting to blame the other guy, we citizens could get an actual idea of what is happening. But all you get now is cherry-picked agenda driven snippets of data to support your pre-decided position to believe you are right so you can feel good about yourself.

You are being lied to and you're too dumb to realize it. These changes in spending have fairly simple explanations. Why is no one asking these questions and putting the pieces together?
