The news follows reporting from my colleague Ken Dilanian that the administration’s pressure campaign to force top officials out of the FBI, which has disproportionately affected women and people of color, has prompted demands from Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., that the Justice Department’s inspector general investigate the matter.
this line is great. forcing top officials out, which has disproportionately affected women and people of color....who apparently are DISPROPORTIONATELY represented in those top positions in the first place.
btw, the FBI needs to focus on getting the law enforcement track up and going again rather than focusing almost exclusively on minority recruitment, female recruitment, and lawyers/accountants.
I've mentioned this dozens of times in the past. the FBI agents are by and large nice men and women. they are good if you need them to arrange some technical support from the feds but overall, they are pretty clueless.
I have equated the average FBI agent to a big city cop with about 3-4 years on; which means they don't know d*ck.
I've done probably 20 or more interrogations directly with an agent (watched many times that)
and they absolutely don't know how to do interrogations.
