Nathalie Rose Jones has been arrested for threatening to assassinate President Trump, and has been charged with two federal crimes.
On August 6, 2025, Jones posted this message on Facebook: “I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present.”
Not sure what she means by "with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present."

In another Facebook post, on Aug 14, Jones called on U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to “please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American People from 10-2pm at the White House on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.”
Authorities say, Jones, age 50, who hails from Lafayette, Indiana, traveled from New York to Washington, DC, where she was arrested by the FBI.
"Threatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution," said Judge Jeanine Pirro, who now serves as the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, adding: "Make no mistake—justice will be served."
Jones has now been charged in U.S. District Court with . . .
1) Threatening to take the life of, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States; and
2) Transmitting in interstate commerce communications containing threats to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.
Both are serious felonies.
She faces many years in federal prison.
