These two series are virtual opposites. 7-1 vs Ole Miss, only loss in 1974. 2-6 vs Bama, last win 1975. The Ole Miss thing has been described by their fans as just being fortunate to catch them at the right time.
On the other hand, we have not been competitive with Bama since joining the SEC. Bama has simply been that good.
