Need to be seen as victims.
The oppressed fighting courageously against the tyrant and the tyranny of current administration. Their constituents can relate to criminal activity and dread of police doing their jobs. Martyred liberals are solid gold to their constituents, the media and the halls of Congress.
Like the pig woman in the red jacket being arrested at the ice facility in DC.
Like the senator, charging into Christie Nome's news conference to ask a question and being dragged out.
And of course, that idiot Al Green at the state of the Union address…
These are all martyrs for the cause. These are all courageous people willing to put themselves on the line and their interviews on the television in order to preserve democracy.
Or something.
And by the way, I believe he's a homosexual. So he's got that going for him.
