the rest of the World joins in. With the major members of BRICS in opposition, Western sanctions are impotent. Likewise, a ceasefire isn't possible unless it is in both party's interest. The Ukraine desperately needs a ceasefire. Russia does not. The Trump Admin sought this meeting with Putin, but it benefitted the Russians to accommodate the U.S. In agreeing to the meeting the Russians kept China and India engaged as reliable trading partners to counter Western economic sanctions. That said the bulk of your OP is false premises, faulty analysis and utter nonsense.
