Several posts responded by attacking the question. None of them responded to the essence of the question.
How about this: is attempting to mediate or arbitrate a conflict between other sovereign nations meddling?
Shouldn't they be left to their own devices and their own politics? Do we have any right to meddle in the foreign or military affairs of other nations? Shouldn't we just let them all kill each other and stand idly by because we don't want to "meddle" in their Sovereign activities?
