A DC resident has gone viral after saying she feels “more safe than ever” following President Trump’s crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital.

“Finally able to chill at a red light with my windows down, not worried about if one of them young n—as is coming,” beaming TikTok user bigdawglexi said in the video, before sighing contentedly.

“Riding through the city, feeling more safe than I ever felt,” she said in the short clip, filmed inside her car at night.

In a separate video, she said it had been “real quiet in the city, real livable, real ‘I like that,'” since the introduction of what she called “Trump’s Law.”

She was quickly deluged with dozens of comments celebrating the safer atmosphere in DC.

“I’m so happy for you! It’s about time!! Good people need to be safe where they live!!” one TikTok user wrote.

“Sad part is when they leave it’s just gonna go back to how it was,” a third wrote in the comments.

Lexi describes herself as a Maryland-based nail tech, but appears to be wearing a police uniform in many of her videos.

Earlier this week, Trump launched a major crime crackdown in DC, with 1,000 National Guardsmen deployed to the city in response to high levels of disorder.

More than 100 people have been arrested since the president assumed emergency control of the capital’s police force.

Armored vehicles and troops have been spotted at urban centers and tourist sites across the city this week.

Officers were pictured erecting barricades outside government buildings and taking photos with tourists.

So far, arrests have been made for offenses including homicide, gun offenses, drug dealing, lewd acts, stalking, and reckless driving, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced earlier this week.

In one viral incident this week, a Justice Department employee was charged with a felony for allegedly hurling a Subway sandwich at an officer.

Sean Charles Dunn was arrested on an assault charge and later fired from his job after video of him hurling the footlong sub at an officer went viral.

Trump is the first president to ever use executive powers to exert control over Washington’s police force since the passing of the Home Rule Act in 1973.
