Pretty standard blackmail. Maxwell knows every last thing that happened with Epstein, his captive teenage girls and his friends. Pretty clearly Maxwell told the Deputy AG who had no business meeting with her that she would tell all on Trump unless she got what she wanted. Admin could not well pardon a woman who facilitated and participated in multiple rapes of young girls, but she got the next best thing.
