of the information and only dole out what they want, when and if they want the public to see or hear it?
Juries are allowed to see and hear far more than the general public is allowed to see or hear. But the government is still a gatekeeper even in the cae of a trial. In the most generous interpretation of that fact, one would say that they assume that the people, including those on juries are too stupid to understand what the judge or prosecutor knows and understands. In worst case scenarios they can and do skew the trials and pervert justice.
The general public should at least have access to all of the information that juries were privvy to, at least in cases that pertain to the legitimate interests of the general public. Just as there are laws and rules about full disclosure of ALL of the pertinent evidence to the defense in a criminal trial, so too should there be full disclosure to the general public.
To do any less puts far too much power and control in the hands of the government, especially in cases such as this one where the government itself is accused of being involved in the blackmail and Deep State schemes that are to the detriment of the populace.
