But I despise the playoff in any form. My opinion, if you can't win your conference you have no business being in the discussion for the national championship. It's supposed to be hard. And for the Boise State's and App States of the world, join a real conference and win it. If we got to 4 conferences, I'd be OK with the 4 conference champions playing it out. But the current playoff is just stupid. There is a very small group of teams that will win it every year with the way it is set up, just get used to it.
