staying with Peter when in Capernaum. That does not mean he had his own home. Mark 1:29-35 clearly indicates Jesus staying at Peter’s home.
The concept of “home” in the 1st century included places where one returned regularly. It does not automatically confer home ownership.
You and this author are ignoring the cultural context of communal living and hospitality.
The home archaeologists believe to be Peter’s was found to have undergone major renovations in the 1st century to set it up for communal gatherings. The renovations made it unlike other dwellings.
By modern standards Jesus was homeless. He stayed at the homes of other people when traveling doing his preaching work.
Your defense of Trump is bizarre. You ignore scripture and Jesus’s own words to defend Trump. If anything it is an outright condemnation of the US for lacking hospitality that got Sodom destroyed.
