absolutely love driving in downtown Chicago.
It scratches the itch of wanting to be a driver in a Mad Max movie.
The aggression is off the charts, rules are mostly non-existant and there's absolutely 0 mercy for anyone that drives with an ounce of caution or hesitation.
Light turns green, you get 0.25 seconds to start moving before you're getting honked into oblivion. You better have the reflexes of a funny car drag racer.
Trying to turn right on red? You better gun it through that entire crosswalk of pedestrians in that 7-foot gap between the lady with the baby stroller and the old chinese man carrying way too many bags. You'll fit.
You drive passively and someone is just going to take your spot that you curently occupy in your lane, while you're both moving. If you don't drive like an agressive, murderous lunatic then they're merging in front of you and there's nothing you can do to stop it, whether there's actual room or not.
It's amazing. Its everything I'd ever hoped that driving could be.
