they want to attract a male audience sex appeal will probably have to be part of it. That may sound wrong but it is the reality of the sport.
Despite what the left tries to tell you women are not as athletic as men. Basketball is one of the most pure athletic sports around and the WNBA comes up short. NCAA men, NBA and the G-league all play the exact same game at a much higher level. You could even throw AAU in there.
If the WNBA is ever going to succeed on its own merits it is going to have to hook an audience in some way. Get women to support it, make it a family affair, have something unique other BB leagues don't offer, if they don't find their nich eventually the league has to fold. The NBA won't carry them forever.
