I dont really pay attention to other teams but even though

we've had some 1st round misses, I feel like Veach is still doing well in the 1st round overall (and phenomenal in some later rounds) You're never going to hit on 100% of your first round picks, but it just feels magnified when one does miss. You can usually point out multiple successful players taken in subsequent picks when yours flops

Veach in the 1st round:

2018 - no pick (mahomes trade in 2017)

2019 - no pick (mahomes trade in 2017)

2020 - CEH (miss)

2021 - no pick

2022 - Trent McDuffie, George Karlaftis

2023 - FAU

2024 - Xavier Worthy

2025 - Josh Simmons

So assuming Worthy and Simmons pan out at their current trajectory, he's hit on 4 of 6 1st round picks. Seems like a decent rate.
