Since I work in agriculture, I usually spend a bit more time in the animal barns and maybe watching a couple of shows. If I remember right, I went on a rodeo day back then as well. Was ok, from what I remember..typical big fair from back in the day.

I not go to the MN state fair every few years (I did go every year on my previous time in MN since my work sponsored an event there and got free tickets. Being between the twin cities, it is damn crowded, but the beer selection (they have like 40 fair only brews) and music selection is very good. Probably will skip this year and go next year.
