Confederate flag flying high on 54 near Lake of the Ozarks

So when you go down 54 from CoMo/Jeff City toward the Lake of the Ozarks - which is a common approach for people coming from the Lou, KC, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska etc - for over a year now there has been a gigantic Confederate flag flying on a super tall pole above the highway a few miles before you get to the Lake. Like right over the highway.

Some people have countered by putting a very tall American flag across from it and someone also put up a sign saying "Hate divides" or something like that...but still the Rebel flag keeps flying high.

I wonder if there are any lawsuits or outcry or if it is just one of those things where people own private property by the highway and they can mount whatever they want on their long pole (TWSS).

But it isn't exactly a good look for the state along the path that all those Yankee tourists travel down on to come spend their money here.
