i've been here a quarter century ...

many good posters have either left or died. sarge comes to mind. then there was the chicago journalist. good dudes.
but the chatter here from my perspective is little different than it was when i first posted. back then i was even interviewed here prior to a k-state game. that doesn't happen anymore.
there are still thoughtful posters on tigerboard like cpa and genco98. and yes some real turds as well. not the brightest stones in the quarry. they know who they are, or perhaps they don't.
you know back then they wanted to fire gary pinkle? he was over his head, just a mac coach. then they loved him a few years later and wanted a stadium statue. legendary norm stewart was replaced by "can't miss" quin snyder. that went sour pretty fast. they loved him. then they hated him.
my sense though is that not much has changed over the years. and this board is little different than those of other schools. it's just better attended and open to debate without thin-skinned admins.
