They believe that there was a grave threat of the spread of communism which was a lie perpetrated by the US government to overthrow democracies in other countries to install dictators for financial gain.
That poor Israel is a victim despite Israel seizing land strategically through brutal tactics to isolate Palestinians into divided sections and prop up groups like Hamas to divide the leadership so that there could be no unified negotiations for a Palestinian state.
The government use of the media for evil purposes started before Mockingbird.
