The transmission line is needed and will benefit the nation's electrical grid.
If the AG's concern is with the use of emminent domain to build the line, then he has the power to stop that in his state.
Eminent domain and the DOE Loan Program are 2 seperate issues. Let's say Invenergy (the developer of the transmission line) obtains commercial loans for the project. What will AG Bailey do next?
The REAL issue is the feds are requiring Invenergy to run a FIVE MILE WIDE corridor for the ransmission line. Invenergy wants that reduced by 90% to 1/2 mile wide.
