Points above.
But the speaker was speaking in pretty general terms with a pretty broad brush. To build on what tix just posted, blacks are taught from kindergarten on that they are victims of oppression. And the same education/indoctrination that generates Karens on the right creates angry victims on the left.
I suspect in the young, the ignorant, and the stupid racist excuse is a get out of jail free card. Especially when you have Karens in the DAs office and on the bench.
The other problem, of course is that the screams of racism and oppression by blacks is a great launching pad for a career and politics. Claiming to be a victim can get you jobs can get you into the finest schools and can propel a political career of of someone as amazingly, stupid as Jizzy Crockett or other equally stupid people.
People that are poor often tend to be prone to violence and self gratification and have used the race card as a free pass for generations. The anger is real I believe it is widespread but certainly not universal, and it is dangerous.
And remember in the homes of these young people, there's not much of a counter balance for the indoctrination they received in the schools. The parents, or single parent, were probably subjected to the same victim indoctrination as their kids are and are not inclined to counter it.
