but the Epstein theme has dominated right wing talk for years, and Trump was asked on the campaign trail if he would release the files, to which he said yes. His proxies over the last few months (Pam Bondi, notably) has said it's been a directive from Trump to get the information to the public.

Also remember the highly touted epstein binders given out in May -- "phase 1" they were labeled. That certainly leaves it open that there's a phase 2 or more coming ... And strangely, it hasn't.
