West - UT-A&M-LSU-Miss-Miss St
North - OU-MU-Ark-Vandy-Tenn
South - Bama-Auburn-KY-UNC- (Duke or Clemson)
East - Georgia-FL-SC-UVA- (FSU or Clemson)

VaTech would be a lower consideration.

4 games in division
5 games in another division
1 non-con against a power conf lackey
1 non-con against a high level MAC/MWC type team
1 non-con against a Sunbelt/CUSA type

Pods Rotate within divisions each year when you play that other pod.

N-E & S-W
N-W & S-E
N-S & E-W

repeat every 3 years.


Eventually, they will figure out that these conferences are too big and they will someday subdivide, and while they will continue to be one big umbrella at least for a while, two smaller divisions (10 teams) will likely develop and have division commissioners and eventually maybe even break back apart into more logically sized conferences. I've been predicting this for a long time, but not as something that'll happen in the next 5 years. Maybe another 10, 20+ years.
