I can see a scenario where they effectively stand pat. maybe add a utility guy who can't hit or a middle-reliever with a 5+ ERA or something useless like that. they either need to be adding a serious bat (or two) or they need to be selling a starting pitcher (or two) and trying to reload for next year.
