can't teams pay any amount they want to anyone they want through NIL? Or is that incorrect? I know every team gets a certain amount now, but those with better funding will still simply pay more to get more good players.
A team with just one rich supporter can compete with any team in terms of how much they pay their players though, so in that way, it is "fair." Before, only certain teams were allowed to cheat but now anyone can pay top dollar.
The MD coach is expressing what can happen on any team though: huge differences in what players are getting will occur on every team and that can cause problems. But if you have enough good players, I would guess that it won't matter so much if they are all fighting and hating each other, to a point.
