avoided it the last year and a half. They get lucky with a bloop hit to break it up. A guy like Boyd is really tough on them, soft tossing lefty's that throw a ton of pitches off the plate...with KC's strike zone discipline they can't help but swing at pitches well off the plate and hit weak fly balls and grounders.
