Got hurt at work, and had to be hospitalized (overnight for precautinary reasons). Insurer told me NOT to worry it would all be covered. They just needed to record some statements from me. After recording the statements a week later they say they are deciding not to pay. Abrupt change from what they had told me and my employer.

So I do the research and find out you don’t need a lawyer, you file a court form and a judge will be assigned to arbitrate. I file the form and send my employers insurance company a certified letter to that affect.

A month passes and a week before arbitration I get a letter in writing that if I drop the case they will pay the original bill in full.

Feel like insurance companies really like to throw their weight around, and walk on people.
