At this point there has not been any spending increases.

It’s talk about down the road, which could and likely will never happen.
Lockheed is building a plant in Germany to build Patriot missiles. It won’t be open until 2026 to start production. Raytheon’s plant hasn’t even been started The US inventory has been depleted, the plans for the German Lockheed plant existed before the “deal” with NATO.
Lockheed won’t be able to increase capacity to 650 missiles a year until 2027. NATO allies pledged to buy 1,000.
It will take years for the order to be complete and for the US to restore inventory.
Very little will show up in Ukraine in reality unless this drags out much longer.
This is about weapons sales and profit for the military industry, not the Ukraine battlefield.
