Some jackasses steal it (KCPD had a 1000' spool at a tower site get stolen--but they cut it up into 100' sections in order to carry it, got spooked, and left it). Many of hte thieves will burn off the PVC jacket and the inner foam insulation, which is a hazmat incident in and of itself because of the fumes released.
