Those programs are worthless and don't help the problems at all. I was a income maintenance worker for several years and administered those programs and saw first hand how those receiving the benefits where shiftless, irresponsible grifters and criminals unworthy of help.

You have to be lacking in the understanding of basic human nature to think that entitlement programs help.
