I have no loyalty to the State if Israel for religious regions. I don't believe the Biblical Israel refers to a plot of geography. Modern Israel presents plenty of problems, but it is the best friend we have in a really backwards yet important part of the world. But we should never fool ourselves about the reality of that area of the globe.
