And the celebration for the end of the Civil War.
And all the days we celebrate the end of World War I.
And all the days and weeks that we celebrate the end of World War II.
And all the days we spent celebrating the end of the Vietnam conflict and the war in Afghanistan.
But just one crappy day, one day to acknowledge Black people finally being informed of the end of the Civil War?
What's next, no month-long holiday for St. George Floyd or Trevon Martin?
White supremacy reigns in this country.
