One of our current education issues is that we have let many students stay in school borrowing money for masters, mba's, doctorates in utterly useless shyte degrees. bachelors in many of these fields is still terrible too.
Puppetry, victim studies (gay, lesbian, african american, tranny, mexican etc..) philosophy journalism communication, etc...)
These degrees were created to pump money into the school itself, screwing the student over entirely. as a bonus, they enabled schools to handle their pesky diversity problems.
I'll steal a line from the movie incredibles. when everyone is special, no one is. They dumbed college down so low, anyone can go, keep enrolled, until tossed out with a huge debt and a useless degree.
