or we end up being like Japan, or China in a generation. We do not have a reproduction rate to keep the age balance appropriate to a growing economy.
If Trump wants a significant manufacturing base that can come even close to competitive in the world (or even keep costs under control in the USA), it will require immigration to staff.
The best alternative is for the USA government to quickly get out of the way, and let the market start solving these problems for the benefit of all.
