In essence, it boils down to, It's hard to answer a post whose point I didn't see.

That is pretty much the case for anyone who doesn't see the point being made in a post.

Of course, sometimes that is the fault of the original poster, other times it's the fault of the person replying, yet other times it is some combination of the two.
