There is little in the life experience of an entertainer that bestows wisdom on any subject outside their immediate field. Most have no clue how to manage their own lives and finances without professional assistance. Bono's opinions are no more consequential than those of your average teenager. He is famous and is given a platform to exhibit his ignorance.
