with undocumented workers. Allegedly.

I had a guy in yesterday to fix my dishwasher, I didn't ask for his papers.

I had the car serviced last week, once again did not ask for papers.

The dude who works the morning drive thru at McDonalds does not speak much English. Should I ask for his documents before paying for my McMuffin?

Am I responsible for checking every worker involved in all of my business dealings?
