I reject the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.

I don’t subscribe to the same idea of “inspiration” that many Christians do. I think the comparisons between the cultic practices of the Mosaic Law, such as those around animal sacrifice and the New Testament aren’t any reflection upon just Jesus coming along, that there was an overnight revolution, as I’ve heard many Christians argue, but the context of the writers. The Mosaic Law being written by a Priestly class, whose concerns were different than the New Testament authors. Even within the Old Testament, such as Isaiah 1, we can find God rejecting animal sacrifices and asking of a New Testament system of grace and justice.
So depending upon the topic brought up, my responses may come across as being atheistic when I reply rejecting some arguments Christians make.
