I’ve said all of that in the past, but like someone below mentioned, Larissa Anderson is hell bent on recruiting in-state players to a fault. I’m all for it but you have to recruit from the soft ball hot beds of California, Texas and Florida. One thing to add is that Mizzou is not the most commuter friendly location to get to by air. The small Columbia airport we have is just that…small with limited flights so as a result, it’s your choice to fly from either 2 hours west in Kansas City or 2 hours east in St Louis. Another negative in any type of recruiting to Mizzou is that if you are a highly touted player and heading to the SEC is your desire, the choices of Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and newly added Texas and Oklahoma will most likely be your destination and not Mizzou.
