it has nothing to do with whether you think he has a fair trial or not.
He is not even close to innocent.
What level of homicide it should be is reasonable to argue.
But the guy stayed on him and gave him no aid while he was unconscious for a long period of time (I think something like 7 minutes, but cannot remember. And it can not be proven that he would have died that day anyways. Fatal doses of fentanyl is dependent on prior use, of which there is no exact evidence on that.
