I know there was discussion you had on here in regards to the different people in Trump's camp being about equal tariffs vs equal trade.
It would seem in the last round with China (and even the basics of the UK agreement) that it is more about equal tariffs vs equal trade (no trade deficit).
I do think that comes with less "pain" in the short to medium term which would likely reduce the odds of a recession.
That, and a clearer picture today vs a month ago as well.
