a lot of cash in her trunk (usually a drug deal)...someone tipped them off or paid them to get the cash, and they got caught.
Again - total guess, but why else would your rob some gal by herself?
Had to know she had a lot of money in the car or it wouldn't have been worth taking that risk for a couple of grand.
Plus they rented a car, tented the windows prior, and spent a couple of days down there scouting it out.
You don't do that unless you know there is probably 6 figures in that car.
It will be interesting to find out what really happened. I could also see them ratting some folks out.
