You can drive at 16yr old so that is the difference .... and her new Husband might need a DD if he is on a bender!!
A lot of women have gotten married at 16yr old historically. Heck my EX mother law did as well as her sister and cousin.
A lot of times there was financial reasons and freedom reasons as well. That is why we have all these laws that pertain specifically to young women, so they had the freedom to remove themselves from poor situations or to stop themselves from being married off to someone they didn't love for financial reasons.
I find it interesting that Dem's want to Pedo underage children at their perverted leisure, but on they other hand they want to take away a females right to freely marry the person they love and want to spend their life with.
