went through a hostile takeover and changed who is in charge of it to a more global scale?
Why are other countries experiencing a growing trend in far-right populism: nationalism, social conservatism, economic nationalism, and fiscal conservatism - Portraying opposition of the establishment (in theory) and speaking for the common people (also in theory).
Canada's Pierre Polievre who embraced the anti-woke movement, Canada First National Movement (although he did start to fade from that after the tariff talk)
Australia's Peter Dutton who also has campaigned on Anti-woke agenda and cutting off funding for schools, pledged to have on Elon Musk style overhaul of their federal spending to "Make Australia Great Again."
Or the recent Marine Le Pen's Far-Right National Front in France, although that ended with Le Pen stepping down due to embezzling funds.
In Germany, the rise of the AfD far-right populist movement has gained a lot of traction that opposes immigration.
Italian's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, what some say the first far-right leader since WWII (Benito Mussolini) and is anti-immigration and conservative on cultural issues.
Does it seem like there has been a large shift simultaneously across the globe?
Conspiracy theorists out there: Do you think there is a playbook? Do you think it is because of algorithms on what you see on social media designed to influence you a certain way that is also happening in other countries?
Why were there Tesla protests in other countries such as Canada and Europe, not just the U.S.?
Why does Musk do speaking engagements with Germany's AfD?
Why has he posted on X and retweeted far-right support in countries in Brazil, Ireland, New Zealand, Argentina, and Italy?
