Meanwhile the founders practically lost their minds creating the most byzantine structure of checks and balances in order to separate the power given to the people in government so that each would cancel out the other with group-think freezing the entire thing so it grows and moves like a sloth.
They knew tyranny was inevitable humans being humans, they were simply trying to stave it off as long as possible.
Today arrives and DOGE reveals that USAID and other 'agencies' are nothing but full-on slush funds for political activism and pocket-lining by the very vermin the founders were defending against.
No, WE are not the government.
The government is that unfortunate collection of folks who wish to gain and wield power over everyone else while getting as wealthy as possible as they do it.
Such folks are definitely enemies domestic and history has shown (and is showing) that to be the case.
Which puts us here today where we either gut the entire federal government or it ends us, our choice...
